A lot of news

This blog has been relatively silent for a while, and for good reason. This past semester has been extremely busy as I began a second major in graphic design.

At the end of the semester I discovered that at this time I have projects which I really want to return to in illustration. What I have learned in graphic design is very valuable, so I do plan to continue enriching my knowledge of the subject, but more on the side. It was a good experience, with great teachers and enthusiastic classmates. I'm now getting back into drawing and trying to prepare for a post grad program.

I recently finished a book cover commission for C.A. Allen:

Holy smokes, it's been a while. I've been working on a number of pieces, mainly inspired by books I enjoy, and in general experimenting with various mediums and doodling. I love monsters and horror so I've been finding ways to feed that fear loving side of me :)
